One, two, and….three patents for PriPayd

          Three, that’s the number of patents filed and now granted to ACT Concepts, creator of the concept of an onboard data aggregation device (PriPayd) that respects the driver’s right to privacy.

 « It’s the database of maps embedded in these devices (Patent FR2831982) that make it possible to analyze instances of excessive speeding in a statistical manner, without keeping a single trace of the actual trips taken. »

 

 This first patent, granted in 2001, has since been complemented by Patent FR2905024  and finally FR2936631 to extend the analysis of driving behavior to portable devices (Personal Navigation Devices, Smartphones)

Several patent certificates leading Pay-As-You-Drive™ in France

e-bonus, the only Pay-As-You-Drive technology capable of protecting the privacy of the driver without the least possible lapse (at least according to its design), is now a licensed technology. ACT Concepts took out several French patent certificates and is proposing a licensing agreement for automobile insurance companies and integrators of telematic solutions.
